FIFA 23 might only be an iterative upgrade to a well-established formula in terms of gameplay, but this latest entry does bring some substantial changes on the visual front. The hair rendering has seen some key improvements, and the Frostbite Engine is able to render individual strands of hair which makes for a dense texture mesh that looks nothing short of spectacular. Of course, you also get full physics properties for these strands and they appropriately sway to the tune of the winds. While these touches are definitely hard to notice from an isometric perspective, they are certainly present and worth admiring.
