Heavenly Sword

Ninja Theory’s Heavenly Sword might not have been its best work to date, but credit where it’s due – the game features some impressive hair physics. Players assume the role of Nariko as she embarks on a grand quest to restore peace to her world. You see, one of Nariko’s defining traits is her red hair which is presented with great attention to detail. Sure, the hair textures aren’t as dense as many modern titles on this list – but the physics are pretty sharp which allows the hair to fly in all directions as you chop down on your foes with your acrobatic sword skills.
