Sonic the Hedgehog
Throughout the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise, each Act within a Zone had some kind of time limit. It was more common in the old-school titles which provided 10 minutes for each Act before you lost a life. The 3D titles didn’t really feature the timer all that much but it made a return in Sonic Lost World. Heck, even Sonic Forces gave the player a whopping 60 minutes to finish a stage. Hilariously if the player didn’t move for three minutes at a time in Sonic CD, Sonic would jump off the screen, resulting in a Game Over.
