4. Snake:

Snake has been around since the NES era, and he’s only become more popular throughout the years. This clone of Big Boss has certainly grown out of his “father’s” shadow. He’s saved the world from giant fighting robots, controlling A.I. and crazy megalomaniacal family members on more than one occasion.

Snake has unraveled impossibly complicated plots and battled bleeding edge military technology.  To top it off he’s based off of one of the most bad ass action heroes of all time (Snake Plissken.) Even when as an old man he’s proven to be more than a match for his enemies and has rightfully earned his place in the gaming history books as one of the most capable, inventive and unstoppable forces in gaming history. Everyone always wants more Snake and hopefully we’ll be seeing much more of him in the future, even if it means we call him “Grampa”.
