Console Aim Assist is Overpowered

Console aim assist has always been a sore subject, especially in games where it can give some major advantages. As for whether it’s especially incredible or not, the answer varies from game to game. Overwatch console players don’t necessarily have the same advantages as PC players. Halo Infinite players have aim assist on consoles but not on PC, though it has its share of inconsistencies that could mess up your aim.

Meanwhile, Destiny 2 struggled with controller aim-assist on PC before making adjustments to all platforms in general (and catering a bit to console players in the process). It’s a complex issue that can’t simply be broken down into “console aim assist OP.”
