Hacking and Cheating is a PC Issue
Hacks and cheats have always been an issue for multiplayer games with more and more PC titles like Destiny 2 and so on adopting more stringent anti-cheat methods. Even some titles like Overwatch, which don’t often make the news as much for cheaters, have faced issues. Unfortunately, along with console hacks very much being a thing (and not just recently either), cross-play has resulted in console players being exposed to more and more cheaters on PC.
Halo Infinite is one such case with reports of cheating circulating for months, especially since there aren’t separate lobbies for PC and console players. Of course, having a separate lobby doesn’t automatically make you safe. Long story short, cheating remains a big issue and regardless of the platform, you’re never completely immune.
