Needless hardware configurations
Though it often isn't that hard to figure out, multiple hardware configurations can be a bit confusing for those who are just window shopping for a new console. The PS3 fell foul of this, with a variety of different hard drive sizes and bundles, many of which didn't include backwards compatibility. The Vita has suffered a similar issue, with a vastly more expensive 3G equipped version that, considering the availability of wireless hotspots in the west, is unlikely to turn heads outside of Japan. Sony should try and keep the PS4 launch SKUs as minimal as possible.
