Blaze
Seen in The Pit’s background, fighting on a bridge too far, Blaze was one of the most powerful fighters in the franchise. As a fire elemental, Blaze is capable of flaming uppercuts, conjuring lava and teleporting underneath lava to re-emerge and attack foes. It says enough about his powers that he could cause Armageddon all by himself in Mortal Kombat: Armageddon. Interestingly, if he was included in Mortal Kombat 11, you’d have to wonder if it would be his corrupted form or just the regular Liu Kang swap covered in flames. Besides, with Tanya also to consider, he may be one fire-wielding fighter too many in this line-up. We can still dream though.
