5. Michael Shapiro (G-Man)
Of all the characters on this list, Half-Life's G-Man is probably the weirdest of them all. Easily the most abstract part of an already “out there” game, G-Man's dialogue and voice coalesce to embody the spectral figure who haunts Gordon Freeman throughout his adventures. His voice was almost too extreme in the original Half-Life, to the point where it was comical, but Michael Shapiro's work for the character in the second game hit the mark.
