A lot of people missed out on Ghost Trick but, despite its handheld stature, it packed a hell of a story woven into awesome animations and interesting gameplay ideas. Penned by the mind behind the Phoenix Wright games, Phantom Detective had a whole roster of hilarious characters whose intertwining tales all rounded together at just the right moment. Though one of the later plot twists felt a bit random, the final conclusion was equal parts haunting and satisfying.
