7. Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core
Similar to Halo Reach above, any gamer worth their salt already knew the basic ending to this Final Fantasy VII prequel. That said, the build up in Zack's relationships with Cloud and Aries makes for an emotional final section, with Zack fighting for his and Cloud's survival against an endless wave of Shinra soldiers.
