LittleBigPlanet
Bringing the same functionalities as PS3 versions to the PSP wasn’t an easy job, and though Camridge Studios and Media Molecule did successfully iterate the LBP franchise on Sony’s first handheld, they did not do it perfectly. With the PS Vita, though, things will be different. This time, Media Molecule has a much more powerful system on their hands, with more control inputs than ever and online capabilities to rival those of the PS3. We’re sure looking forward to the game, and we hope it fixes the few issues that LittleBigPlanet 2 has and offers an even better experience.
ModNation Racers: Road Trip
ModNation Racers was a hell lot of fun on both the PSP and the PS3, and there’s no way in hell anyone would want to miss MNR: Road Trip for the PS Vita. Not just because it’ll be fun as hell, but also because it looks to improve upon the predecessor in every way possible- more online capabilities, more creation tools and more importantly, better racing mechanics. What’s more, it’s a launch title for the PS Vita, so those who’re picking up the system on launch day might want to get this game along with it.
Gravity Rush
Gravity Rush (originally known as Gravity Daze) has a very unique concept- it focuses on getting through the levels of the game and whatever obstacles it throws at you while manipulating gravity. It’s an action adventure game, but it’s very different from other games in the genre. Motion controls will obviously play a huge role in the controls of the game, and we are very interested in seeing what it has to offer. Two gravity based games in the same year (Inversion, remember?)? Hell yeah!
