Sleeping Dogs 2
Sleeping Dogs didn’t exactly sell gangbusters at launch with Square Enix revealed that it didn’t meet sales expectations. Nevertheless, it was touted to have potential. So despite Sleeping Dogs 2 never formally being announced, United Front Games began developing it in early 2013. This emerged thanks to several documents provided to Vice by two sources, indicating the game’s co-op approach, branching storyline and ability to arrest any NPC. Square Enix didn’t show much interest in a full-fledged sequel but it did support the free to play Triad Wars which focused more on multiplayer. To no one’s surprise though, the latter failed to garner fan interest and was canceled in January 2016.ted United Front Games has since shut down while Sleeping Dogs 2 remains a pipe dream at best.
