Uncharted 3
The sequel to the award winning and our Game of the Year 2009, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves will have a sequel. In fact if any recent interviews and rumors are to go by; Uncharted 3 is well under production and will be probably released for a grand 2011 holiday. We just can’t wait to get our hands on Drakes next wild adventure.
The Last Guardian
You don’t need rock music and strong voice acting to make great games. Team ICO is a colossal example that the games can be art. They did that with ICO and Shadow of the Colossus and the Last Guardian should be no different. It’s been a long time coming but Last Guardian looks like it’s a guaranteed AAA experience. The game hits holidays 2011.
Little Big Planet 2
Ah! The most beautiful and the innovative game of this generation begged a sequel. Before the sequel was announced, I always thought what more Media Molecule can add to an already superior game in Little Big Planet. Well MM are game developers for a reason and the number of features in LBP2 like creating your own game is just one of the numerous reason that 2011 will be a great year for the PlayStation 3.
Motorstorm 3: Apocalypse
Perhaps the most underrated and under achieved franchise from Sony’s first party studios, Motorstorm Apocalypse might be the game that will draw new blood in to the series. Featuring game play among the midst of collapsing building and huge structures, Apocalypse should fill in the void in the action racing genre, since there has been no Burnout game for the last 30 months or so.
