SLIDESHOW ENDING
To be fair, this one is a lot more forgivable than all the other entries in this feature. Games ending with a slideshow of images and art with narration for how some of their storylines ended is understandable when there’s just too much to go over. When there’s dozens of possible different outcomes and when these “slideshows” only go over the more ancillary stuff, this is still forgivable- still, it’s a tad disappointing.
The Witcher 3 did this, as an example. And while it didn’t really make the ending bad by any means, it was still disappointing to see the consequences of some our actions being summarized at the end of the game with art and narration as what felt like afterthoughts.
