Resident Evil Village – PS4/Xbox One
Resident Evil Village is easily one of the best games from Capcom as of late, and a lot of that can be attributed to how the game manages to effortlessly switch between different shades of horror – resulting in a thrilling experience through and through. The RE Engine is known for being optimized for different hardware, but that isn’t the case with Resident Evil Village which suffers from some nasty issues on last gen consoles. On top of having extraneously long loading times, players have to put up with a buffet of problems ranging from screen tearing to frame rate slowdowns and even hard crashes – which definitely soured the experience for last gen players.
