Metal Gear Solid 5 – Xbox 360/PS3
Kojima’s swansong Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain has a ton of great things going for it, but there’s little doubt that the game struggles to run well on the Xbox 360 and PS3. The resolution can drop really low which results in a blurry image, and the frame rate exhibits a high level of inconsistency. It’s definitely not the intended way to play the game, but Konami had to make the game for these platforms because Ground Zeroes was also released on the PS3 and Xbox 360. Of course, having to juggle these different versions of the same game would have also required some significant amount of resources – which might have been better off if diverted towards completing the game.
