54. Users must connect to the internet in order to activate playback of Blu Ray and DVD movies
I’m not sure why this feature requires an internet connection to playback, Blu ray and DVD movies, but yes the PS4 must be able to connect to the internet to activate playback of those movies that you want to watch over and over again.
