The PS4 camera eye has an in-built microphone which is able to detect where the sound is coming from and locate the point of origin. This feature is awesome and creepy at the same time, because the AI here is simply astounding. For those of you who doubt the capability of the Eye; it can hear a great deal due to upgraded microphones, which could make the AI mucking up voice commands a thing of the past.
