The odd one out in this list, purely because of the genre it belongs to. Rather than delivering exciting third person or first person action, Empire at War is an engaging and addictive real-time strategy title, and for fans of the genre and of the property, an absolute must-play. No, it’s not the deepest RTS you’ll ever play, but the pure joy of being able to build up the forces of either the Empire or the Alliance and then leading them to tactical victory in large-scale battles is, in and of itself, worth the price of entry.
