#8. STAR WARS: BATTLEFRONT (2004)
The Battlefront name has been sullied in recent years for a variety of reasons, but there’s a reason EA even decided to bring that branding back- because fans once associated with pure, unbridled quality. 2004’s Star Wars: Battlefront may not have been a home run as far as its single player content was concerned, but in the multiplayer department, it was a distillation of the childhood dreams of every Star Wars fan. The way it captured the soul of Star Wars and translated that to engaging, bombastic multiplayer gameplay cannot be praised enough.
