NO IN-GAME SOCIAL INTERACTIONS

Pokémon games are extremely social ones, in that they rely on you trading and battle with others, and the structure of Pokémon Go makes it looks like it’s even more so. So the fact that as it stands right now, there’s absolutely zero in-game social interactions is kind of a surprise. Even something as simple as being able to send a message to a friend isn’t included. Of course, there are some who might argue that the point of Pokémon Go is real life, face-to-face interactions, and I’m not one to argue against that. But some in-game conveniences would still be appreciated.
