LACK OF SUPPORT FROM JAPANESE DEVS

A lack of support from Japanese developers has been one of the biggest issues Xbox has faced this generation, with several major Japanese-developed games – with the most notable examples being the likes of Persona and (until very recently) Dragon Quest – choosing to skip the platform. That’s an area Microsoft should look to make improvements- and thankfully, it looks like that is indeed what they’re doing. Phil Spencer has been incredibly vocal about wanting better Japanese support on Xbox, and seeing the likes of Dragon Quest and Yakuza making their way to the platform has been really encouraging to see. Let’s hope it continues with the Xbox Series X.
