If you head to Asterion’s Spring, ascend the statue and chill for a bit, the background music starts to sound very familiar. While not outright the same, it definitely bears a resemblance to the main theme from cult-classic zombie film 28 Days Later. What does that have to do with the Assassin’s Creed franchise, much less Odyssey? We don’t know but whether intentional or not, it’s a cool little detail all the same.
