Extracting Ellie from the Firefly lab – The Last of Us
As the key location for developing the cure for the Cordecept virus, The Firefly lab and hospital serve as the location where a cure for the Cordecept virus is theoretically possible. As expected, this lab has the highest security you can imagine. Joel and Ellie’s goal was originally to come here to help further the development of the cure. Of course, Joel quickly changes his mind once he sees that Ellie’s life is on the line. The Firefly lab and hospital wing are by far the most difficult parts of the game and show both Joel’s willingness to go through hell for Ellie and how good the stealth in this game can get.
