Drangleic Castle – Dark Souls 2

Dark Souls 2 doesn’t quite feel as interconnected as the other games in the series, but the towering Drangleic Castle is an exception to that. Drangleic is one of the few landmarks visible from the game’s hub area, Majula. The giant blackened tower is also the final obstacle between you and the objective you’ve been vaguely moving towards the entire game. What differentiates Drangleic Castle from other castles in the series is the ubiquitous enemy groupings of two or more standing guard all over. You’re rarely going up against single opponents in this maze-like castle, making the series of locked doors and hidden pathways that much more challenging.
