Atlus fans eagerly awaiting the Western release of 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim will have to wait a bit longer. The publisher has delayed the title from September 8th to September 22nd. While a reason for the delay wasn’t given, the title will now launch English voice-overs added as a day one update.
Developed by Vanillaware of Odin Sphere fame, 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim combines 2D side-scrolling adventure with top-down tactical combat in mechs. The story features 13 different characters, each with their own unique tales, whose fates intertwine in the battle against the kaiju. Players will be able to customize their mechs and can take up to six characters into battle.
13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim will be available for PS4 when it launches. Unlike the first run of its Japanese release, it won’t include Princess Crown which Vanillaware founder George Kamitani worked on for the Sega Saturn. Stay tuned for more details on the game in the coming weeks.
