Pre-Order/Subscribe for Early Access
Subscribe to EA/Origin Access to play a 10 hour trial of Anthem before it launches! However, you could pay for Origin Access Premier – there’s no option for this on consoles, by the way – and get the full game a week early. However, if you pre-order either edition or subscribe to any service, you could play the demo several weeks before launch. Suffice to say, this approach to early game access quickly got confusing. It’s not just EA either – Microsoft has been selling early access with the Ultimate Editions of its games for years, giving a head-start to multiplayer fans who pony up the cash.
