We’ve all been through the horror of our favourite character being replaced by a new actor. But how many times has that happened in video games and resulted in the character becoming worse in the process? There are plenty of extraneous factors involved but let’s take a look at 13 voice actor replacements in video games that managed to make their characters a less appealing.

Ty Olsson – Dead Rising 4

Dead Rising 4 wasn’t exactly the most stellar example of an open world zombie game, much less a great Dead Rising title. But hey, at least you got to hear the signature voice of TJ Rotolo as Frank West, right? Wrong because Ty Olsson was the voice of Frank instead and while he wasn’t the worst part of the game, it still came across as more of an imitator than the ladies’ man who covered wars, you know.
