Dealing with leaks and rumours is something that every publisher in the industry, big and small, has to do on a near-constant basis, but Capcom fell victim to a massive leak towards the end of 2020. After data and information was stolen customized ransomware attacks, Capcom refused to pay a ransom, which resulted in a massive leak of detailed plans for multiple upcoming unannounced releases over the course of the next 3-4 years.
