Guerilla Games’ Horizon Forbidden West is one of the most highly-anticipated games of 2022, and while the game isn’t out yet – we already have seen the game’s terrain deformation in action during its gameplay trailer. When series protagonist Aloy fights the gigantic elephant boss, the sand particles can be seen flying around on impact when the boss’s attacks hit the ground, resulting in impressive land deformation. It’s easy to miss and of course, we don’t know what else is in store – but from the looks, Horizon Forbidden West could easily be another great AAA game featuring robust terrain deformation.
