DISGAEA 5
As far as the actual gameplay is concerned, Disgaea 5 is an absolute blast. It’s got excellent combat and incredibly deep systems to lose yourself in- but the plot completely lets the entire game down. It’s full of tropes and predictable “twists” and “turns”, and lacks any sense of good pacing whatsoever, with events and scenarios that drag on for way longer than they should. Not to mention the fact that almost every character in the game is the most generic anime character you’ll ever see.
