THE DAY BEFORE

the day before

Recently announced by publisher MyTona and developer Fntastic, The Day Before looks like a cross between The Division and Left 4 Dead. Set in a post-apocalyptic New York City that has been ravaged by flesh-eating zombies, The Day Before will see players surviving and exploring its harsh world, building up a colony of survivors, gathering resources, driving through the city’s deadly streets, and crafting weapons, all in the name of survival. Its gameplay debut looked promising- but years of being burned by similarly promising debuts has taught us that it’s still best to proceed with caution. We don’t know if The Day Before will manage to come close to the level of quality its reveal suggested it will hit, but if it does, it’ll be a special game.
