So this is your first Dark Souls game and you started it off by, intentionally or unintentionally, dying. Don’t get disheartened though. No seriously – it’s something that’ll happen a lot. The game even gives you an Achievement/Trophy for dying the first time with the title clearly stating “This is Dark Souls”. Though surprisingly missing in Dark Souls 3, Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice kind of pays tribute to this Achievement when you resurrect for the first time (since it also involves dying).
