Fiend Ryu – Ninja Gaiden Black
There’s really nothing much to the Fiend Ryu from Ninja Gaiden Black, besides the fact that Fiend Ryu will only appear in the higher difficulty levels and that they are much, much better at Ninja Gaiden Black than you are. Sometimes attacking in groups if the game wants to send a particularly strong message, that message being “Screw you, the player, with great vigour”, The enemies will have the weapon Ryu was using upon encountering them, know how to use it very well, and even then be able to poke with unlimited Ninpo, and any of the various Shuriken at will. It’s nearly as hard to cheese them as it is to, how the kids say, “git gud’’.
