Both the original and remake of Resident Evil 2 offered some interesting reasons to replay the game. Basically, whenever choosing Leon or Claire, you’ll play through that character’s A Route. Beating it unlocks the B Route for the other character so clearing the game with Leon A unlocks Claire B while clearing Claire A unlocks Leon B. What makes this so cool is that you’re exploring an alternate perspective in the B routes while accessing new areas, encountering Mr. X in new places and even accessing items that weren’t picked up in Route A. Of course, completing the B route for either character also unlocks the true ending and conclusion. You also get a separate route called 4^th Survivor with Hunk, and while short, it’s still a lot of fun.
