The wheel of time turns and ages come and pass, and a new MLB game gets announced every year. Right on schedule, this year’s outing has also now been revealed, with Sony and developer SIE San Diego Studio lifting the lid on the upcoming MLB The Show 25.
Details on this year’s improvements haven’t yet been revealed. Sony has confirmed, however, that Paul Skenes, Elly De La Cruz, and Gunnar Henderson will serve as this year’s cover athletes. The trio will adorn the game’s covers to commemorate the MLB The Show series’ 20th anniversary. Check out the cover athlete reveal trailer below.
MLB The Show 25 will launch for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch on March 18. Unlike previous years, it won’t be a cross-gen release nor available via Game Pass day and date. However, those who purchase the Digital Edition can start playing the game four days before release, on March 14.
