11. The Walking Dead – Here. Have a serving of some lies.
The Walking Dead had set new benchmarks for storytelling via games. It introduced brilliant game elements and took ‘choice’ in games to a new height. The role of our character was greatly emphasised and the game made you think hard before making a decision.
One of such decision involved Clementine. Children really do make things tough and the duty of telling Clem that her parents are dead is upto us. Now most of went on to think of the poor thing and thought it best to lie to her. that lie began a whole series of similar lies that kept on burying us in guilt and remorse and finally having to break the news to her really tore us apart.
