Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater
This 2004 PS2 release sees players using the tools of tricks and deceit to face the various threats that lie in the jungle. It’s a classic game, and one filled with excellent boss and morality systems – the latter of which we’ll be looking at today. There’s a boss fight with Sorrow, and players are presented with the spirits of the soldiers they have killed up until that point. It’s an emotionally evocative sequence and serves to show the adverse effects that wars and conflicts have on humanity.
