The Division – “This Game is Dead and The Devs Don’t Care”

The Division Update 1.8

The Division found itself in a similar situation as No Man’s Sky but not at launch. The game had its bugs and issues but was still very enjoyable. Unfortunately, the messy scaling and difficulty, stingy loot drops, numerous glitches and breeding ground of toxicity that was the Dark Zone sapped any good will. There was a feeling that Massive Entertainment didn’t understand what it’s community wanted. However, several months later, the first of several major updates would arrive to revamp the entire game, introducing better loot drops, more reasons to play in the LZ, and better balanced activities. This would subsequently mark The Division’s rise even if still hit a few bumps along the way.
