Dark Souls is without doubt the hardest game of recent times. Although frustrating, every victory in the game is a ‘sweet sight of seven bountiful heavens’ sort of rewarding. What’s more, almost every fat rumped demon summoned from realms beyond hell itself that you put to rest rewards you with a beautiful scenic beauty to appreciate and remember. One such time that really makes every win memorable is when you defeat the Bell Gargoyle.

After hours of toiling, death and re-spawning, when I finally defeated the Bell Gargoyle on the rooftop and turned back, the golden-red sunlight flitting through and piercing the clouds was one sight to behold. And that’s just one aspect that I’m talking about. Dark Souls II is bound to take the experience to the next level. Playing the game in virtual reality sounds like the perfect thing and somehow, the prospect of death sounds a tad more comforting.
