Red – Pokemon Gold and Silver
The revelation of being able to return to Kanto, the location of Pokemon Red and Blue, in the post-game was already crazy enough. Being able to challenge all eight Gen 1 gym leaders even more so. But the biggest surprise was the ultimate boss waiting in the Silver Cave – Red from the original game, wielding a Pikachu, Blastoise, Venusaur, Espeon, Charizard and Snorlax. Truly a fitting end to the Gen 2 journey.
