Batman Arkham City
Rocksteady delivered a great experience with Batman Arkham Asylum, and its sequel Arkham City expanded it beyond the asylum to all over Gotham City. This adventure pits you against a buffet of iconic villains from Gotham’s rogues gallery with missions that take you all over this massive open-world. The gameplay expertly blends stealth gameplay with rhythmic combat, which remains fun throughout the entire playthrough. It was also one of the most visually impressive games of its time, though it does seem dated by modern standards.
