At first glance it’s hard to fathom what’s going on in Every Extend Extra, it’s kaleidoscopic colour mishmash melting eyes the longer levels continue. The premise is simple enough though, collect power-ups, avoid obstacles, and detonate you ship to execute explosive chain reactions that’ll unlock more power-ups, and so on. It’s figuring out the most opportune moment to detonate your ship that positions Every Extend Extra closer to a chaotic puzzle game more than a shoot ‘em up. Once the penny drops, Every Extend Extra becomes an absorbing, addictive experience.
