One of the most beloved titles in Need for Speed history, Underground is still praised to this day for its extensive customization (with hundreds of parts from 52 manufacturers to play with). Of course, it also revamped the series’ formula, focusing on the street racing scene via modes like Sprint, Drift, and Drag racing. Stylish customization and driving would net more Style Points, which ensured further upgrades to a car’s look. Even with no free roam and underwhelming damage models, Need for Speed Underground remains close to many a racing fan’s heart.
