HE’S BRITISH, OF COURSE
There’s two categories of side missions and questlines in Red Dead Redemption 2- the kind that is grounded and intense, and adds significantly to the main story, and the kind that isn’t afraid to have fun and tell some seriously outlandish and thoroughly entertaining stories. Like “The Smell of Grease Paint”, “He’s British, of Course” falls into the second category. Arthur runs into a traveling caravan of circus travellers, who seem to have run into some trouble. Their carriages were wrecked, and some of their animals, who were the highlights of their show, have escaped. Again, it’s a simple setup, and easy to write off if you just hear it be explained in a couple of sentences, but with each successive mission, the questline continues to escalate in terms of humour, and how bizarre the entire situation is.
