Alice: Madness Returns

American McGee’s Alice wasn’t the be-all, end-all psychological horror renaissance but it was still a nice visit to a twisted Wonderland with great combat. Alice: Madness Returns didn’t quite capture that enthusiasm among critics due to its level design and gameplay. However, it’s still recognized as a worthy sequel with an even darker story, a corrupted Wonderland full of new foes, and new mechanics like Hysteria and the shrinking potion.
