Luminous Studio Engine
Final Fantasy XV is being developed by a team within Square-Enix’s second business division. Originally directed by seasoned veteran Tetsuya Nomura who moved over to direct Kingdom Hearts 3 and Final Fantasy VII Remake, Final Fantasy XV is not being directed by Hajime Tabata. Tabata is best known for directing portable titles “Crisi Core; Final Fantasy VII,” and “Final Fantasy Type-0.” The second business division is the first to use the company’s Luminous Studio middleware engine. Exciting!
