You only get one first impression. Developers Splash Damage had high hopes for Brink, wanting to build a unique post apocalyptic world and a team based shooter meets RPG that would grow with it’s players. The idea was just a little ahead of it’s time, and the developers bit off just a bit more than they could chew. A lack of polish and numerous bugs upon release saw critical and player reception kill off the community, and the online shooter floundered without it.
