Metro 2033

metro redux

4A Games’ Metro series is well-known among fans of post-apocalyptic shooters, with Metro: Exodus and Metro: Last Light being highlights of the genre. Metro 2033, however, remains an underappreciated gem. Players take on the role of series protagonist Artyom, who has to endure the game’s ruthless world so as to shelter the remaining civilians. The post-apocalyptic gameplay is brutal, as players will have to keep tabs on a number of resources and face the beasts that roam the surface. Metro 2033 paved the way for Last Light and Exodus, and for that reason alone – might be worth checking out for fans of the genre. And yeah, there’s also a souped-up Redux version that you can try out.
